Fossix Update regarding COVID-19

Given the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the Sydney community and beyond, I want to provide an update on the precautionary measures we've put in place at Fossix to protect our team, guests and the customers at large.

 

We've always exercised strict hygiene and cleaning standards at Fossix, and as a precaution we've introduced a number of further measures to offer a safe dining environment and reduce risk to our community.

 

Changes in-house include:

  • Remote ordering and payment now available with the Fossix.app
  • Dine-in contactless table ordering and payment for every seat with exclusive Fossix QR codes 
  • Take-away and Office Catering are available
  • Dine-in customer service - maintaining social distancing consistent with Federal Government guidelines.  

We're regularly monitoring Government and expert health advice, and ensuring that our team uphold the highest health standards, including frequent cleaning of our café and kitchen, particularly public areas such as coffee bar, tables, chairs, handrails, and food & beverage areas.

 

Furthermore, we've reinforced amongst our whole team the importance of monitoring their own health and instructed them that if they feel unwell or are showing signs of illness, that they're to remain at home.

 

We'll continue to monitor the situation and act upon Government health and workplace advice and be sure to keep our community updated with any further developments.
